Well, after much rumors and speculations, HMD Global has finally announced the first Nokia Android smartphone. The Nokia 6 has been launched in China and will only be available in the Chinese market only on JD.com. If you are Indian and are waiting for the Nokia device to grab it, then you have to wait out for this one, as HMD Global mentioned in its release that there are no plans to release Nokia 6 in other markets. This isn’t a high-end smartphone; Nokia 6 is aimed at the mid-tier because of its hardware specifications. Nokia 6 features a 5.5 inch Full HD display along with 2.5D Gorilla Glass for protection. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC with X6 LTE modem. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Nokia 6 features 16-megapixel Rear camera and an 8 Megapixel front camera. But, apart from all these things the Finnish company Nokia stated in a Facebook post where it simply says “more announcements to follow on February 26th” it is the date that lines up certainly with the start of the MWC (Mobile World Congress) which will be held in Barcelona. However, yet it is not clear that what we will see on the 26th February. So if we talk about the new Nokia 6 smartphone, then we can say that it is a fairly mid-range device that is unlikely to attract peoples or the users who are actually waiting to see if HMD Global can recreate the Nokia’s classic hardware design and simply pair it well with the widely used Android operating system.
